Friday was a holiday here in Portugal, and as it could not be different, a left #roadtrip and we made a bounces back in Aveiro and Porto. It was a really fun tour to do.
I joined with my husband and two friends, then we rented a car with the company Sixt, and we left Lisbon decided to know the street custody Colorful umbrellas in Aveiro, We took the road 7:30h morning and off we went super excited to meet all.
After 2:00h trip arrived in Àgueda, which is so famous street of umbrellas and to our surprise, no longer had exposure! #quemnuncané
It was informed us that from time to time, the umbrellas are taken to change the subject. However, do not let it discourage us and then we follow with our bounces back towards the beach Costa Nova, which is in the city of Ílhavo.
The beach of Costa Nova is known for colorful and painted houses with stripes around the beach. These houses are called Haystacks and were used as warehouses fishermen.
I loved walking the streets and see families walking with their children, playing with the dogs, a familiar and cozy atmosphere as well.
He gave even to understand why many people choose to Aveiro region to live.
As we left the beach, we continue our way and went to Aveiro. The city is considered the Venice Portuguese, by having a channel with River Aveiro, and it is possible to moliceiros sightseeing.
This tour has duration of minutes and costs, approximately, 10€. in Aveiro, also is located, the factory of Vista Alegre, one of the largest companies of Tiles and porcelain Portugal, worth a visit.
We walked the main street and stopped to try two typical sweets of the region, the famous Soft eggs, and guts, a candy that looks like crepe, I experienced with filling of nutella. for a change, I was talking and enjoying the moment and forgot to take pictures to show to you.
Only took pictures in Peixinho confectionery, the place has such a beautiful decoration, that attracts everyone to buy soft eggs and the service was exceptional.
Aveiro, Finally, We follow to Porto, a city that is my second passion. Porto is the second largest city in Portugal. Very rich in culture, we have several museums, much wine and its beautiful bridges.
I'm in love with Ponte Dom Luis I and the view we have of Porto Ribeira. The center of Porto is considered a cultural heritage by UNESCO.
Recommend know Lello Library, where the Harry Potter author was while living in Portugal. Continue to Torre dos Clérigos, know the McDonalds, which is considered the most beautiful in the world for its historical and full decorative chandeliers.
Knowing coffee Magestic, the oldest city. And you can not miss, or principal, a stroll through the Ribeira, sit in one of the many restaurants that have by and spend a cozy evening in the company of Port Wine.
At the end of the day, we concluded that, make one bounces back in Aveiro and Porto earned super worth, we had a productive day and great company. I love traveling by car and consider quality time with friends travel.
